Point of Care Testing

Point-of-care testing (POCT) is a type of medical diagnostic testing that can be performed in the office, rather than in a laboratory. POCT can be used for a variety of diagnostic tests and can provide results in as little as a few minutes.

Some of the POCT available in Dr. Zarini’s office include:

  • Fingerstick Glucose
  • Hemoglobin A1c
  • Rapid Strep Test
  • Rapid HIV Test
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Urinalysis
  • Urine Pregnancy Test
  • Covid Test
